The World Fireworks Championship Blackpool 2023 will be held at weekends across September and October. The event has previously taken place in Singapore, Canada and Japan.
Three countries will participate over three nights:

There are two main places to watch the fireworks display. The first is on the promenade, where you can enjoy some hot doughnuts while listening to music from street performers. If you choose this option, make sure to get there early enough so that it doesn't become too crowded for you and your friends or family members. The second is from one of the many vantage points around Blackpool, people sit as far as Harrowside bridge where you can relax with a delicious kebab from Armenian.

The event has been running since 1985 and attracts an estimated one million people every year to watch some of the world's best pyrotechnicians compete in a battle of creativity, skill and imagination.

The World Fireworks Championship is a free event that takes place on the beach in front of Blackpool Tower. It's held over three nights, with each show starting at 8:30pm and lasting for over 20 minutes. The best way to enjoy this spectacle is by heading down to the promenade where you'll be able to watch from one of many viewing areas set up along the beachfront.
You can get there by tram or bus as well as by car/bike/foot if you wish!
